Rite of Spring is a shelving installation bridging two adjacent walls. Drawing from the way tree branches grow, this installation uses varying thicknesses of plywood and solid wood to create a balanced weight to strength ratio. Each cantilevered arm is strong and flexible like a tree branch, resulting in a beautiful and functional shelving piece.
