Sintered Wedge Table

Takeshi first designed his wedge table in plywood, with each surface of the table tapering to an elegant 1/2” edge. With his blessing Louis Lim + Makingworks.com created a stone version for Evenson Best. Spanning 12ft in stone was a great design challenge. Ultimately, we detailed a wood and metal hybrid structure. Considering that the order was for two tables going to SF, one in the lobby and one on a 2nd floor, we also had to make them as separate halves, to be joined on site.
